While it Rains...

Oh I wish it would rain
How I wish that it would RAIN...
I see you through my window pane
but blocked by that glass
It seems impossible for me to
Get next to you...
I wonder at the Temptations you
put my lonely heart through
Wishing and Hoping and Praying ... That
you might turn around and notice me noticing you
and want to know if it's really you
that makes the sun shine on me
Even if everyone else's day is cloudy.
But hey, Mondays may get me down
But never rainy days.
Because in those times I sit and contemplate
the concentration of which is wholly devoted to you.
But....
It was just my imagination
Running away with me....
I wish this could be a reality
that me seeing myself in you
and you in me
and you out of me
and you in me
could really be more than some fantasy
I giggle about when I'm close to you
Close enough to touch you
But...
Each day through my window
I watch him as he passes by...........
